Comarch with T-Systems to Launch a Newly Enhanced Version of Comarch OSS Suite

10:00 am   -   February 17th, 2009

Comarch and T-Systems agreed to join forces to market a common integrated suite of OSS products.
Comarch’s cutting-edge OSS Suite will incorporate PegaPlan, a T-Systems planning solution. The resulting product will offer clients a closed loop, full-blown OSS environment of deluxe functionalities.

The combined solution will fully support mobile operator operations in planning access and backbone networks. The present OSS functionalities of Comarch OSS Suite will be enriched by the following functions: new equipment planning based on geographical and coverage maps, building and bringing new sites into the operation, planning radio parameters (NE components, neighboring, handovers) and frequency planning for RAN, including the latest LTE technologies, as well as the planning of new backbone capacity.

“By cooperating with Comarch we will continue and extend the success story of PegaPlan. The integration of PegaPlan with a world class solution like the Comarch OSS Suite will create additional value for our customers,” said Mr Ulrich Kriszun, Vice-President of Export Sales of T-Systems.

The newly enriched Comarch OSS Suite is bound to be a powerful tool for increasing the market position of its users through improved resource planning and usage. As one of the first on the market, our solution will fully support change management processes through the planning, execution and reconciliation of network changes. The solution improves operations by improving the management of network resources and maintaining up-to-date information about the network throughout the entire planning and fulfillment process. This integration allows operators to close the gap between planning and operational processes which helps close the loop, and shorten the flow from planning, through execution, monitoring, optimization, and back to planning.

“By integrating T-Systems’ successful PegaPlan with the Comarch OSS Suite, we can extend our current product portfolio and reach, targeting new regions and operators, building on the established and trusted reputation of both our companies’ products. We are delighted to enter into this cooperation with T-Systems to offer operators the greatest flexibility of solution design,” noted Mr. Piotr Piatosa, Vice-President of the Telecommunications Business Unit, Comarch SA.
