Comarch Presentation at TMW Orlando 2008 on Service Delivery

12:31 pm   -   December 12th, 2008

Comarch gave a presentation on 19th of November, 2008 titled “Service Inventory as a Key Enabler of Effective Service Delivery.” This took place during the Management World Orlando 2008, the event for the management of information, communications and entertainment services conference, in Orlando, Florida.

TMW Orlando 2008 was a great place for sharing ideas regarding telecom industry problems, solutions and innovations. Comarch was there to promote its proven and cutting-edge solutions within the OSS area. This was also the first event where Comarch, together with PTC / Era (T-Mobile Group), a Polish mobile service provider, were promoting the Misuse Detection System, a solution designed and built within a multinational project.

“Comarch is becoming a more and more active member of the TM Forum. We actively attend their events and also take part in the organized work groups. It is worth mentioning that we cooperate in the Catalyst programs, where we share our knowledge and experience through speaking opportunities also. We encourage our customers to cooperate with us in the TMF activities. The TM Forum programs allow us to become more visible as a strong solution provider in the telecoms industry,” said Piotr Pi?tosa, VP Telecommunications, Comarch SA.

During TMW Orlando 2008, Comarch was presenting a case study covering implementation of the Comarch Inventory Module at a multinational service provider. The presentation was conducted by Jakub Zaluski-Kapusta, the OSS Product Manager and also part of TMF NGOSS Transformation Case Studies module in the Transformation Summit. His presentation covered problems and challenges of the implementation, as well as providing some interesting aspects with regard to network and service management transformation according to NGOSS principles.

“The presentations throughout the TMW and Transformation Case Studies module, in particular, are the best place to learn about current problems and currently running OSS implementations. I prepared a case study on the Comarch Inventory Management implementation. The presentation triggered a lot of questions and discussion in our booth, which proves that this is a very hot topic nowadays,” said Jakub Za?uski, OSS Product Manager at Comarch SA.
