Comarch Opens New Headquarters in France

9:01 am   -   July 2nd, 2009

Comarch has opened a new headquarters in Lille, France. Comarch has been present on the French market since 2007, when the Comarch subsidiary Software SAR.L. was founded. Professor Janusz Filipiak has taken the opportunity provided by the opening of Comarch‘s new headquarters to present the face of the corporate strategy, in the French language, to 60 specially invited guests, including customers, institutions and press.

The geographic choice of location has ensued from an agreement with a large customer: Auchan Telecom (MVNO Operator). Auchan has been Comarch’s customer since 2006 and thanks to our solution Comarch 3arts (Compact BSS/OSS/CRM) was able to launch the pre-paid and post-paid offer to its clients. Also, another very important area of collaboration is the ongoing cooperation with Bouygues Telecom, which started in 2005.

Today, Comarch (turnover 220mln Euro, revenue 56mln, 3500 employees) employs 40 people in Lille (consulting and technical assistance), Grenoble (R&D) and Paris (sales), in order to develop its IT solutions.

Since 1993, Comarch has been specializing in designing, implementing and integrating solutions and services for telecommunications operators. Experience gained throughout this period, in addition to its knowledge of the latest industry trends led to the development of a wide customer portfolio that spreads across 4 continents and includes the biggest market players: T-Mobile, Vodafone, Telefonica O2, Grupo America Movil as well as MVNO operators such as Auchan Telecom, France. Comarch customers’ satisfaction has always been the strongest confirmation of the quality of its solutions in the areas of billing and inter-partner settlements, as well as management of telecommunications networks and services. Comarch offering for telecom operators is primarily addressed to Fixed, Cable and Broadband Operators, Mobile Operators, Wholesale Departments, MVNO/MVNE Operators, ISPs and VoIP Operators and Content Providers and IPTV Operators.
