Comarch Implements a Billing Platform in TeleYemen

Comarch has signed a contract with TeleYemen - Yemen International Telecommunications, headquartered in Sana, Yemen - to implement the Comarch BSS billing platform.

“The contract signed between Comarch and TeleYemen is, along with a number of Comarch’s projects in Yemen and United Arab Emirates, a step towards fortifying Comarch’s market position in the Middle East, where the demand curve for advanced IT solutions is currently increasing. Comarch competed against billing platform vendors from China and India that are firmly positioned in the Middle East market. TeleYemen appreciated the high degree of technological advancement of the Comarch solution as well as references that affirmed Comarch’s reputable level of quality,” said Pawel Kleczek, Sales Director TELCO Comarch.

Mr. Kleczek added, “The value of the deal about USD $2 million. Comarch will implement most of the Comarch BSS platform modules (i.e. Billing System, Customer Management, Billing Mediation, InterPartner Billing, Service Provisioning, CashDesk, 3Arts and SelfCare) for TeleYemen. Comarch’s solution is a key element in TeleYemen’s strategy to dynamically develop their customer database, provide convergent telecommunication services and prepare for the upcoming deregulation of Yemen’s telecommunication market.”
