Comarch Delivers IT Systems to Five out of the Top Ten Mobile Network Operators in Europe

5:25 pm   -   November 21st, 2007

The Mobile World published a report concerning the growth of the Top Ten Mobile Network Operators in Europe. Comarch delivers IT systems and provides services to five of these. TMobile Germany is the biggest and first on the list.

Besides top ten MNOs such as T-Mobile Germany, Comarch also provides solutions and services for the Polish operator Polkomtel Poland. Europe’s ten largest MNOs have a combined total of just over 270 million customers, which is nearly 40% of the total market.

“The operators enumerated in The Mobile World report are a strategic segment of customers for Comarch. We are planning to deliver products and solutions to the majority of the Top Ten MNOs. This can be confirmed by our references as well as by the huge amount of interest in Comarch’s solutions coming from telecom operators – including some in which we are in advanced stages of negotiations,” said Jacek Lonc, Sales Director, Global Large Accounts, Comarch S.A.

The Comarch Inventory Management system, which is a part of the Comarch OSS Suite implemented in the T-Mobile Group (currently in Germany and Austria), can also be found among the solutions that Comarch delivers to MNOs. Likewise, Comarch InterPartner Billing, a scalable and flexible settlement system for billing and partner relationships and part of Comarch BSS Suite, was also bought by Polkomtel. Their solutions have also been used since 2004 by the German mobile operator O2.
