Comarch and Interia.pl Rewarded in London
Comarch’s Multimedia Content Distribution Platform project Fulmido launched through Interia.pl received first place in the Best Content / Partner Management Implementation category at IIR’s World BSS Awards 2007 in London.
The winners were announced at the Billing & Information Management Systems Gala Dinner and Exhibition at the Great Hall of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in London, UK. Innovation and profitability (win-win-win) were the main features for which Comarch was assessed when receiving this prestigious award in London.
“We particularly liked the holistic nature of the approach and methodology adopted. Distribution of multimedia content over IP networks is becoming an important and growing market. Successful solutions such as this will become increasingly important in the light of convergent business requirements spanning Internet, Mobile, and IPTV networks,” said Hugh Roberts, President of the Assessment Board BSS Awards and BSS/OSS Events Consultant Director.
Filmido is the first and the best commercial and multimedia materials repository in Poland. It enables the purchase of music, video clips, movies and all other utilities such as books, guides or educational materials.
“Fulmido.pl is unquestionably one of the most interesting and attractive multimedia projects in Poland. We are very happy that we are the first on the market with this product.
