bcgi (NASDAQ:BCGI), a leading provider of products and solutions that enable mobile operators and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) worldwide to differentiate their offerings and increase market penetration while reducing costs, has recently announced its continued international expansion with the official opening of an office in Madrid, Spain. The new location places bcgi directly in the economic heart of Spain, giving clients in Southern Europe greater access to the company’s expertise in billing and payment solutions.

As deregulation opens Spain’s telecom market to allow MVNOs to operate on local carrier networks, bcgi is well-positioned to provide global MVNOs with an array of products, solutions and services. As a principal provider of managed billing, payment and access management solutions, bcgi brings its leading expertise to current and emerging operators and MVNOs in Spain and Southern Europe.

“Deregulation has triggered demand for sophisticated billing and payment services with MVNOs entering the market,” said E.Y. Snowden, bcgi president and CEO. “Leveraging bcgi’s enviable experience in providing essential products and solutions for MVNOs in the United States, we are excited to expand our business reach to burgeoning markets in Spain and Southern Europe.”

The Madrid office will be headed by Leopoldo Moreno, managing director of bcgi Iberia, who will report to David Fondots, vice president of bcgi International Sales. Moreno brings his years of experience in Europe to lead bcgi’s growth to its client base in Spain.

“The Spanish telecom market is undergoing tremendous change as the influx of MVNOs reshapes the competitive landscape for service providers and operators looking to quickly introduce new products and services,” Moreno said. “bcgi’s innovative solutions will help customers compete effectively by attracting and retaining additional subscriber customers, thereby increasing their ability to drive additional revenue while lowering their costs.”

bcgi launched its MVNO Managed Services Suite in Europe and the Middle East earlier this year. The company employs almost 500 people worldwide and is headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts; with offices in Westbrook, Maine; London; Madrid; Mexico City and Singapore; and development centers in Hyderabad, India; and Petah Tikva, Israel.

About bcgi
bcgi delivers innovative products and services that enable mobile operators and MVNOs worldwide to differentiate their offerings and increase market penetration while reducing costs. Founded in 1988, bcgi is a leader in identifying and addressing new market needs with proven solutions, including prepaid and postpaid billing, payments and access management.

Highdeal, the world’s leading provider of Pricing, Rating and Charging solutions, has announced that leading wireless data provider, Wireless Matrix, has chosen Highdeal Transactive for its billing and partner settlement platform.

According to Maria Izurieta, CFO of Wireless Matrix, “It became apparent early in the selection process that Highdeal was unique in its ability to accommodate our business requirements through simple configuration. We wanted to avoid any custom coding that, in the long run, would have meant limited flexibility. Transactive provides our business with both an operational solution and a real front-office enabler.”

Wireless Matrix provides real-time telematics and mobile resource management applications such as fleet tracking and remote inventory. These services, which leverage both terrestrial and satellite-based communications networks, depend on a large number of remote devices out in the field generating extraordinarily large transaction volumes. This presents a challenge for traditional telecom billing systems.

After conducting a comprehensive search and RFP process that included all the leading solutions in the marketplace, Wireless Matrix concluded that Highdeal Transactive alone was able to meet their needs, and did so cost-effectively. Highdeal is rapidly becoming the de facto billing solution for telematics, machine-to-machine (M2M) and wireless data service providers.

During the selection process, Highdeal demonstrated Wireless Matrix’s scenarios fully implemented in Highdeal Transactive including such requirements as dual-tiered charging and fleet averaging. Wireless Matrix is also using Transactive to calculate partner settlement costs such as agent commissions and wholesale transport costs from network operators.

Camilla Dahlen, President of Highdeal Inc., added, “We are proud to add Wireless Matrix to a fast growing list of North American service providers who understand the strategic value of pricing & packaging. As we say at Highdeal, billing is a commodity, pricing is strategic.”

Highdeal will be presenting at the MVNO Sustainable Business Models conference in New York September 26 – 28 as well as Mobile Billing 2006 in Lisbon September 25 – 28. Those interested in arranging a meeting should call +1 212-332-2144.

About Wireless Matrix
Wireless Matrix provides enterprise-class wireless data solutions for business-critical mobile and remote asset operations. The company delivers real-time data services across cellular, satellite and WiFi networks; a variety of modems and hardware platforms; and transportation applications that increase productivity and reduce operating expenses with service fleet operations. Wireless Matrix is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, and has offices in Burnaby, British Columbia and Mountain View, CA . For more information visit www.wrx-us.com.

The Information & Communications Technology Group at Frost & Sullivan will hold its Exclusive 2006 Quarterly Webinar on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. CDT / 3:00 p.m. EDT.

As competition in the mobile communications arena continues to build, the rise of MVNOs presents an opportunity for brand-strong entities, irrespective of their core business area, to play a significant role in the wireless services market without making investments in wireless infrastructure. Though fairly new to the wireless space in the U.S., MVNOs have made a popular impact in the industry with some key players such as Virgin Mobile, Boost and TRACFONE, having made an impact in a short time-span and some major names that sprung up, over the last one year, to join the bandwagon.

Highlights of the briefing include an analysis of the MVNO market in the U.S., MVNO trends, market size and forecasts, MVNO economics and emerging wireless technologies.

“MVNOs power themselves with key ingredients such as strong brand equity, market segmentation acumen and value-added product differentiation,” notes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Samir Sakpal. “However, the pulse of success for MVNOs lies in their indigenous marketing ability and customer relation ownership.”

Those interested in participating in the interactive webinar should send an email to Mireya Castilla – Corporate Communications at mireya.castilla@frost.com with the following information: your full name, company name, title, telephone number, email address, city, state and country. She will send the registration details via email upon receipt of the above information.

This briefing will strongly benefit wireless carriers, existing MVNOs, aspiring MVNOs, Mobile Virtual Network Enablers (MVNEs – constituting of content providers, OSS & BSS solutions providers, billing solution providers, etc.) and the financial community (financial analysts, investors and VC companies).

Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting company, has been partnering with clients to support the development of innovative strategies for more than 40 years. The company’s industry expertise integrates growth consulting, growth partnership services and corporate management training to identify and develop opportunities. While serving clientele including Global 1000 companies, emerging companies, and the investment community, Frost & Sullivan’s comprehensive industry coverage includes a unique global perspective that combines ongoing analysis of markets, technologies, econometrics, and demographics.

Highdeal, the world’s leading provider of Pricing, Rating and Charging solutions, has announced that leading North American cable MSO, Videotron, has selected Highdeal Transactive for their billing infrastructure. The solution, which facilitated the launch of Videotron’s new MVNO offering, was successfully integrated into their existing BSS/OSS architecture.

“We are thrilled with the benefits that Transactive has already delivered to our business. By combining wireless telephone service with Videotron’s other offerings, consumers can enjoy quality products and advantageous discounts on their bills,” said André Gascon, VP of Information Technology, Videotron. “And they can simplify their lives through one-stop shopping at Videotron: we are the only industry player that offers customers a single customer service point, one visit from the technician, one bill for all their services.”

Videotron, which provides cable television and telephony, as well as interactive multimedia and Internet services to 3.3 million customers in Canada , implemented Transactive in an aggressive timeframe to meet the launch of their new wireless offering. Videotron successfully launched this service on August 10th becoming the first major North American cable MSO to also become an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator).

The solution, which supports Videotron’s residential and business customers, reflects a “lightweight billing” strategy. Rather than a cumbersome billing infrastructure that cuts into profit margins, Transactive provides a cost-effective way to price and package quad-play services while leveraging legacy billing & OSS systems. Service providers increasingly need the ability to move quickly in terms of service pricing and bundling in a converging, multiservice marketplace.

Videotron’s strategy is to develop a full, attractive array of telecommunications and entertainment services. The move into wireless is another step towards consolidating Videotron’s customer experience leadership. By eliminating the constraints of traditional billing solutions, Videotron is now able to achieve these goals.

“As a leader in the telecommunications and entertainment market, Videotron understands the strategic value of pricing & packaging to their overall business success,” said Camilla Dahlen, President of Highdeal Inc. “We are happy to have helped them fulfill their vision of unconstrained pricing & packaging flexibility and cost-effective, lightweight billing.”

Videotron and Highdeal will jointly present at the upcoming MVNO Sustainable Business Models conference in New York where Highdeal will also be conducting multiservice Pricing & Rating demonstrations. Interested parties should call +1 (212) 332-2144 or visit www.informatm.com/mvnony. Highdeal will also exhibit at next week’s VON conference in Boston.

The 2007 MVNO Summit is scheduled for January 29, 2007 to January 31, 2007. After the tremendous success of the 2006 MVNO Summit in Las Vegas, telSPACE is stepping up to make sure that the sequel to this conference provides even more benefit for all who attend.

telSPACE has created a billing back office system that allows any company in any industry to add communications to their product line and become an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator).

The system comprises a comprehensive back office network, including all operations functions such as automated customer activation, carrier procurement, fulfillment integration, billing and rating, MIS reporting, customer service and data rich features all integrated into one ubiquitous operating platform. telSPACE effectively uses the internet to automate the complex customer acquisition process, thereby allowing its clients to instantly penetrate new markets or expand service offerings.

Paris Holt, telSPACE’s Chief Executive says, “This sponsorship is very important to telSPACE as the company wants to ensure the success of the MVNO business model of which plays a large part in our companies success. MVNEs like us need to step up and help MVNOs ensure their long term viability in the telecom food chain. We will be working very closely with the Conference Director of Telecom IQ to ensure that the event provides maximum benefit for those who attend. Next year’s 2007 MVNO Summit which is currently scheduled for January 2007, will include more product showcases than last year and a focus on growth strategies to ensure that MVNO participants receive maximum value from the show.

“Next years 2007 MVNO Summit is planned to be twice as big as this years and we plan to have even more informative presentations that will help MVNOs along their path to success. With so many changes in telecom happening right now, we want to ensure that all companies who wish to be MVNOs or already are MVNOs have their own Summit that will help them form better business relationships which in the end could easily mean the difference between success and failure.” says Mark Goldberg, IQPC Conference Director.

About telSPACE
Based in Redmond, Washington, telSPACE enables its MVNO clients using its proprietary turnkey back office infrastructure to sell, provision, fulfill, and care for multiple telecom services, including Pre and Post Paid Cellular, Internet, and Long Distance. In development for over 8 years, the company has used feedback from its 33 MVNO clients to refine its product and create a platform that provides core MVNO functionality that rivals any MVNE in the world.
The Vocalyz product is a specialized telephone service for the mainstream international traveler that bundles reliable, inexpensive international long distance with a 24/7 live private assistant who functions as a translator, concierge or emergency dispatch in the user’s native language. TelePlus is enhancing Vocalyz by providing its customers a branded TelTel softphone over the PsipTN and access to TelTel’s suite of services, including presence, Instant Voice, Instant Text and call forwarding.

“TelTel and Digitrad are helping TelePlus extend the lifecycle for Vocalyze,” said Jim Gibson, Vice President of Business Development for TelePlus Group. “Each company provides and integral piece and derives benefit from the relationship, it’s a win-win for all.”

Vocalyz and its new services are tied together through Digitrad’s integrated GSM billing and IVR (Interactive Vocal Response) platform, Stand4U. So Vocalyz users can continue to use the wireless local number, Teleplus services and the leftover account balances from the travel cell phone through the branded TelTel softphone. This extends the value of Vocalyz beyond the travel experience.

“Extending our relationship with TelTel to the TelePlus Group and its customers reflects our confidence in the PsipTN network,” said Micha Benoliel, President and CEO of Digitrad. “Tying together TelePlus’s value-added services and TelTel’s softphone through our Stand4u integrated billing platform creates the opportunity for Digitrad, TelePlus and TelTel alike to enjoy new revenue streams. This deployment also demonstrates how easy it is for our Stand4u platform to operate across various telecom environments including GSM and SIP.”

“It is very gratifying to see successful business relationships grow and expand through our SVNO program,” said Jack Chang, Chief Operating Officer of TelTel. “Digitrad identified an opportunity to quickly integrate the TelTel services to improve the offerings of one of its customers. This clearly demonstrates the versatility and flexibility of the PsipTN’s ability to deploy global services across different media to produce additional value for users.”

telSPACE , an innovative provider of multi-service billing, rating, and customer care software solutions for the MVNO industry, today announced its selection of the SmartPathTM solution by Trilibis Mobile. This choice will accelerate telSPACE’s plan to offer data services that will dramatically enhance the customer’s experience with their mobile phones. These applications will work hand in hand with its data strategy launch powered by Wireless Services Corporation.

Paris Holt, telSPACE’s Chief Executive says, “The final piece to the puzzle has been put in place and we have now started development on what we believe will be the most comprehensive suite of cellular phone applications ever assembled. Each of our 27 MVNO clients will be able to customize this phone based application to fit their exact target demographic. Our goal is to revolutionize the way our MVNOs are positioned in the marketplace and provide customers with so much more functionality and utility than they have today.”

telSPACE has created a system that allows any company to add communications to their product line and become an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). The system comprises a comprehensive back office network, including all operations functions such as customer activation, carrier procurement, fulfillment, billing and rating, MIS reporting, customer service and soon data all integrated into one ubiquitous operating platform. telSPACE effectively uses the internet to automate the complex customer acquisition process, thereby allowing its clients to instantly penetrate new markets or expand service offerings.

“Trilibis has found in telSPACE an MVNE partner that shares its data services vision. With so many competition in today’s operator market, MVNOs must find ways to distinguish their offerings. With Wireless Services Corporation providing data connectivity services and Trilibis providing dynamic and customizable application creation and management tools, telSPACE is uniquely positioned to enable its MVNO customers to offer the most differentiated retail mobile services,” says Alex Panelli, CEO of Trilibis.

Ryan Reed, CTO for telSPACE added, “We have spent a great deal of time on the technology side of this major strategy initiative. We already have 4 patent pending utility patents so that we can guarantee that our MVNO clients have a major competitive advantage. We believe the future is all about content driven media and specialty applications driven through the cellular carrier’s high speed data technology. We are the pioneers that will pave the way for functionality no one thinks is even possible right now. We will make it happen and in the process significantly better people lives.”

telSPACE, a provider of multi-service billing, rating, and customer care software solutions for the MVNO industry, today announced the integration of carrier top up with the following carriers: T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless, Boost, Tracfone, and Alltel. The company’s MVNO clients now have the ability to replenish the above carriers using the same high tech payment structures used for their MVNO business. This one stop shop strategy allows telSPACE clients to become more competitive and better differentiate themselves from their ever growing MVNO competitors.

Jeremy Gies, VP of Sales at telSPACE says, “This product diversification is an important piece of the puzzle for our clients. We are trying to provide a one stop shop for all the products that our clients sell so that they only need to utilize one back office infrastructure. Entering the carrier top up market was a very big leap from our traditional MVNO support functionality, but it is truly what our clients need to compete in the marketplace.”

Paris Holt, telSPACE’s Chief Executive follows with, “The MVNO explosion over the last 12-18 months has been a boost for all MVNEs, but now the pressure is on the MVNEs in the industry to provide the solution that gives their MVNO clients the best shot at success. We believe that product diversification is the best means to provide our 25 plus MVNOs a competitive advantage. It’s what they are asking for and I have to agree with their thought process. If you’re going to spend the money to acquire real estate to distribute product, you might as well try to take advantage of the marketing success of all the major carriers and cash in on their existing market penetration. It doesn’t end with carrier top up for us as we are heads down adding support for more and more telecom products each quarter, all of which are being layered under the same ubiquitous back office infrastructure our clients have come to know and love.”

Azure Solutions, the revenue assurance company, today announced that a national, tier-one Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in North America has selected its Certo 2 revenue assurance solution to monitor wireless network and revenue performance for a major new service offering it launched in early 2006. Certo 2, recently recognized as a finalist as Best New Product for Telestrategies’ Sixth Annual Excellence Awards, is the latest version of Azure’s automated revenue assurance solution. After its initial market launch, the MVNO is currently adding high volumes of new customers to its service offering that is highly interactive and data intensive.

Certo 2 is designed to meet the demands of high-volume, next-generation tier-one networks while, at the same time, lowering the time and effort needed to deploy and manage an enterprise-grade revenue assurance program. With Certo 2, carriers have the ability to deploy, manage and grow automated revenue assurance programs through a common, scalable software architecture that is easy to modify and hardware- and database-independent. It provides the performance, flexibility and breadth of functionality needed to restore data integrity and reduce revenue losses for wireline, wireless, data and cable operators. It enables customers not only to detect revenue loss, but also help with the investigation, diagnosis and recovery of potential lost revenues.
