Today, Astellia announced turnover of 24.9 MEuros (as of today, USD $32.0M) for 2008, which is an increase of 20 percent.

These excellent results are due mainly to the company’s advance into new territories and the development of mobile networks in terms of traffic volume and technological advances. Telefónica selected Astellia to monitor its 2G 3G network

Astellia was selected by Telefónica first in 2002 to supply GSM test equipment. In 2005, Telefónica complemented its monitoring system to adapt it to its 3G extension. Having the different Cigale software tools installed, they simply added STM-1 boards into the existing probes.
