Capgemini Selects Tribold as Product Management Partner

7:31 am   -   April 18th, 2007

Tribold has announced that Capgemini UK plc (“Capgemini”) has selected its Product Management applications software at the core of its technology offering for Communication Service Providers (CSPs). Today’s agreement confirms Tribold as a software partner for Capgemini to deliver effective product management solutions to their customers.

By selecting Tribold, Capgemini will enable its Telecom, Media and Entertainment customers to create a single, centralized enterprise product catalog at the heart of their business – delivering a single view of all product data to significantly improve management performance, increase the profitability of products and reduce the time to market of new converged services.

“The ability to compete in today’s converging communication services marketplace is predicated on the ability to create, manage and deliver a host of profitable, real-time services. This, in turn, is dependent on an effective product management strategy,” said Nigel Kirby-Green, Vice President, Head of UK Technology Services, at Capgemini. “However, based on market feedback, many companies feel ill-equipped to address the challenges of managing thousands of unique products and bundles. Today’s partnership with Tribold will ensure Capgemini customers can solve these challenges through the deployment of the market’s leading product management portfolio.”

Tribold’s Product Portfolio Management (PPM) application software automates the complex process of product management, delivering a single view of all products to enable service providers to improve data integration, product lifecycle management, business intelligence, and channel management.

“Today’s partnership, with one of the world’s leading consultancy, technology and outsourcing services firms, is further validation of the strength of the Tribold proposition and of the dramatic growth in demand from service providers for an effective product management solution,” said Simon Muderack, CEO of Tribold. “We’re delighted to have been selected by Capgemini and look forward to working closely with them and their customers.”
