CAPE Technologies Launches End-to-End Top-up Provisioning Assurance for Prepaid Services

7:07 am   -   July 30th, 2007

CAPE Technologies, a leading provider of Revenue, Cost and Margin Assurance solutions for the Telecommunications industry, has launched another new and ground-breaking Prepaid Revenue Assurance solution into the marketplace.

End-to-End Top-up Provisioning Assurance, built on CAPE’s feature-rich RevenueOffice™ User Framework, assures the top-up process from voucher or electronic point of sale through to the actual crediting of the subscriber’s balance in the Intelligent Network (IT), validating that all top-ups applied to balances have generated revenues and are derived from a legitimate business source in the operator’s organisation.

End-to-End Top-up Provisioning Assurance provides a new level of automated assurance for prepaid services. The solution ensures that, when a subscriber tops up on the network, that subscriber has paid for the top-up and is correctly entitled to the top-up.

The solution will help customers reveal patterns in their prepaid top-up channels, detect and trace back vouchers that should be unsold but that are in circulation, gain greater visibility into the adjustments made to prepaid balances by Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and put controls in place to prevent the possibility of internal fraud.

CAPE is in the process of deploying End-to-End Top-up Provisioning Assurance for a key RevenueOffice™ customer in Europe , integrating the product to assure the provisioning of voucher-based as well as non-voucher/electronic-based top-ups in their network.

Philip Sharpe, President and CEO of CAPE, commented, “This solution is an exciting development in the prepaid arena. Assuring the top-up provisioning process is yet another piece of the puzzle for operators who want complete assurance of their prepaid business. CAPE ’s product portfolio now provides even more coverage for our customers to ensure that they have controls and detailed reporting on their prepaid revenue streams and the complex channels into these streams. We are striving to generate both ROI and peace of mind for our customers: these products and solutions are designed to quickly close off key areas of prepaid revenue leakage and possible avenues of internal fraud.”
