Cable & Wireless UK Reclaims Millions Using cVidya Solution

7:25 am   -   March 19th, 2007

cVidya Networks, a global leader of Telecom Data Integrity and Revenue Assurance Systems, has announced that Cable & Wireless, a leading international telecommunications service provider, has recovered over £1 Million of revenues with the aid of cVidya’s MoneyMap®. This return was achieved over a period of 18 months. Beyond the direct reclamation, the operator has used MoneyMap® to help report and reduce internal costs caused by unused network capacity that was not released for further use.

The Revenue Assurance department of Cable & Wireless UK used MoneyMap® as part of their activities to identify revenue leakages in their non-usage services (leased lines and IP-VPN). After a 4 month Training and implementation, MoneyMap® has helped the company to identify revenues which were considered lost, by highlighting discrepancies between the network and the billing systems.

“We are very pleased with our selection of cVidya Networks for the use in our Network to Bill Reconciliation activities” said Hakim Akayour, of Cable & Wireless UK. “Both the MoneyMap® tool and cVidya’s professional services have proven themselves to be a valuable asset to our Revenue Assurance team here at Cable & Wireless.”

Alon Aginsky, CEO and co-founder of cVidya Networks, remarked, “We are very proud of the dependable and effective revenue assurance systems we have developed in our product MoneyMap®. In the hands of our highly skilled and professional team, our solutions can bring considerable value to any service provider’s revenue assurance operations, as evidenced by our achievements with Cable & Wireless.”
