Budget Telecom Chooses Highdeal for Pricing and Rating of New VOIP Services

6:40 pm   -   October 19th, 2006

Highdeal, the world’s leading provider of pricing, rating and charging solutions has announced that Budget Telecom, a prosperous low-cost telecommunications provider, has selected Highdeal to price and rate its new VoIP services. In a second phase, Highdeal will replace Budget Telecom’s existing pricing and rating infrastructure for all other IP services as well as future fixed-mobile and MVNO services.

Budget Telecom provides a variety of low-cost telephony and broadband services, including VoIP, to customers throughout Europe . It also provides services to more diverse and niche customers such as expatriates calling from abroad. Thanks to its intuitive decision-tree technology, Highdeal Transactive® will enable Budget Telecom’s marketing teams to quickly launch more sophisticated offers whilst handling the significant volumes of transactions generated by their ever-expanding customer base.

The ease of integration that Highdeal Transactive® provides has been vital to the deployment. It is currently being integrated within Budget Telecoms extensive information system which includes a CRM system, a 100% portal based subscription service for automatic online provisioning and a complex mediation solution which is connected to a host of Budget Telecom partners.

“We carried out an extensive evaluation process and considered eleven other billing providers. We chose Highdeal Transactive as it fulfilled our three main criteria: performance and scalability for rating large volumes of transactions, ease of integration within our extensive information system and the ability to provide complete flexibility to our marketing teams for launching lucrative new offers.” Christophe Bourrier, IT Director, Budget Telecom.

“We are thrilled to be providing Budget Telecom with our pricing and rating solution. The impressive footprint and breadth of services and customers that they have achieved in such a short space of time is remarkable and we look forward to developing our relationship with Budget Telecom in the future.” said Eric Lavenir, Sales EVP Highdeal.
