BSG Clearing Solutions Announces Credit Card Processing

11:06 pm   -   January 25th, 2006

BSG Clearing Solutions, a global provider of clearing and settlement, payment services, and financial risk management solutions for communications service providers today announced the immediate availability of its credit card processing solution in North America. The service provides secure credit card processing for all major credit card associations and adds a comprehensive analytic fraud service for transaction risk management.

“We’re pleased to extend our suite of payment options with the introduction of credit card processing to our customers,” said Patrick Haynes III, CEO of BSG Clearing Solutions. “Our offering further expands BSG Clearing Solutions’ reach and capabilities as a trusted and reliable billing solutions provider, making service and bundling easier, enhancing revenue opportunities and improving cash flow.”

BSG Clearing Solutions began successful merchant implementations and processing of consumer credit cards approximately six months ago, and currently supports merchants in the telecom and ecommerce industries. BSG’s processing portfolio now includes LEC invoicing, mobile roaming clearing, direct billing, revenue recovery and credit card processing.

BSG Clearing Solutions credit card processing incorporates:

  • Fully Integrated Risk Management and Analytic Fraud Services: Flexible fraud detection technology provides transaction risk management with screening tools for velocity checks, geo-location, rule weighting, risk scoring, and more. This integrated real-time risk management platform is further enhanced by a BSG Clearing Solutions proprietary database made up of 15 years of historical LEC billing data. The integration of this data and technology has created a one-of-a-kind risk management solution that will allow service providers to increase collectables and improve cash flow.
  • Comprehensive WebTrack Reporting Tool: Complete accounting and administration in a flexible, easy-to-use, secure application over the Internet. WebTrack simplifies administration settlement by providing the ability to view specific data on a daily basis and to print customer activity reports on a provider-by-provider basis.
  • Customizable Recurring Billing Application: Management of individual consumer accounts through a variety of subscription and installment options. Service providers can offer their customers flexible payment schedules and automate transactions on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, twice-yearly, or yearly basis.
  • Dedicated Customer Service Support: A single point of contact at BSG Clearing Solutions is assigned to each service provider customer.
  • Enhanced Bundled Offerings: Fully integrated and scalable solutions allow service providers to capitalize on the inherent cost-effectiveness and revenue-enhancing billing solutions that are available through using a single source solution.
