Auchan Telecom in Cooperation with Comarch Launched a Post-paid Offer

8:31 am   -   September 29th, 2008

Auchan Telecom successfully launched a post-paid offer in France at the end of August. This project is another example of the cooperation, which started in 2006, between Auchan and Comarch.

Within the post-paid project for Auchan, Comarch delivers a full scope of coverage of post-paid functionalities, from rating, billing, invoicing, sub ledger, dunning, payment collection and matching, to customer registration in a point of sale, self care and deposit management.

“We chose Comarch because we felt that their products would enable us to reach our goals, to create a core system solution which would be at the same time flexible and smoothly integrated. The quick launch of this project (6 months between the business specification of the solution and its startup in our first store) proved to us that we were right to build a partnership with Comarch,” said Mathieu Abt, IT System Manager in Auchan Telecom.

The major portion of the solution has been performed through reconfiguration of products already implemented in Auchan. The only new product delivered was Comarch Scoring, used for customer credit scoring.

“Cooperation with Auchan gives us a lot of satisfaction and brings collateral benefits. Auchan is very satisfied with our professional services. This project has proven that Comarch is capable of supporting a new line of business only through implementation tasks,” said Piotr Piatosa, VP Telecommunications, Comarch SA.
