Associated Network Partners ANPI Deploys Equinox Fraud Management Solution

8:30 am   -   July 16th, 2008

Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems has recently told OSS News Review that Associated Network Partners, Inc. (ANPI), a wholesale voice and data communications provider headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, has licensed Equinox fraud management software.

ANPI selected the Equinox fraud management software application for fraud protection on a SONUS switched network and various other off-net sources. Protector 10 provides real-time fraud protection by identifying instances in which a customer’s actual usage varies from expected usage in a manner that suggests fraudulent activity. Protector has allowed hundreds of telephone and communications companies to reduce fraud losses by distinguishing fraud from legitimate customer usage.

“Equinox offered ANPI the most compelling and complete solution for managing usage records and monitoring potential fraud activity on the switch,” commented Jet Thomas, Director of Carrier and Industry Relations for ANPI. “By facilitating the automation of mediation and fraud control processes and giving us real-time visibility into our network traffic, Protector saves ANPI both time and money.”

“This software purchase represents an important step in initiating a long-term customer relationship with ANPI,” said David West, Executive Vice President for Equinox. “Protector 10 is a recognized software application in the communications industry for reducing fraud losses.”
