Derdack’s mobile messaging solution provides platform for innovative mobile services

Actel built a reputation in the competitive Middle East market as an innovative, stable and dependable mobile messaging solutions provider. In order to exploit the booming market for mobile services and the potential to access revenue streams from non-voice services, Actel implemented message master(r) xsp as a centralized and reliable SMS and MMS messaging platform for Actel’s mobile messaging business.

Actel gradually migrated all of its value-added services onto message master xsp. The platform is currently the core of over 50 value-added services including SMS-to-TV services, content-download applications, breaking-news services, and SMS subscription services.

Khalil Khalil, Sales Manager at Actel commented, “message master xsp has enabled Actel to maintain its reputation for reliable and innovative mobile messaging solutions. We have clients with a variety of demanding needs and the software copes with everything that we ask of it, for example integrating with multiple systems and managing high throughput levels.”

Since the introduction of message master xsp, Actel is achieving higher customer satisfaction in a growing number of projects both through the technical features and increased reliability that message master xsp provides. Other features that have attracted praise are the failover mechanisms such as store and forward.

Khalil concludes, “We set out to find a robust and reliable product to be the central platform for our SMS and MMS messaging business. Thanks to the performance and reliability provided by the software, we have been able to maximize customer satisfaction across a number of projects, which is critical in the competitive mobile services market.”

Matthes Derdack, Managing Director of Derdack said, “We are delighted that message master xsp has proved to be a big success for Actel and has helped them reinforce their position as an innovative, leading player in the mobile services market.”

Message master xsp is an extensible mobile messaging platform that enables new SMS and MMS services to be developed and allows greater innovation for those companies with existing services.
