ACE*COMM’s Network Business Intelligence(TM) (NBI) Suite Selected as Finalist for Two TeleStrategies 2006 Excellence Awards

10:47 pm   -   March 30th, 2006

ACE*COMM Corporation (NASDAQ:ACEC), a global provider of advanced OSS, value-added services, and network business intelligence solutions, announced today that it has been selected by TeleStrategies, publisher of Billing World & OSS Today magazine, as a finalist in two categories for its Sixth Annual Excellence Awards. ACE*COMM Network Business Intelligence (NBI) is a finalist in the Best New Product category, and NBI’s installation with a Tier 1 cable customer is a finalist in the Customer Success category. Published 12 times per year, Billing World & OSS Today is the most widely read magazine by the back-office software decision makers in the telecommunications industry.

ACE*COMM’s NBI suite of products and underlying application platform collects, correlates, and transforms disparate data into actionable business information for operators to increase revenues, improve operating margins, and enhance utilization of network assets. NBI builds on ACE*COMM’s extensive experience in converging information for use by network operators to support business decision-making and better serve their customers. ACE*COMM’s NBI solutions have already been successfully deployed to reclaim $170 million per year in untapped subscriber revenues for one European Tier 1 carrier, and to uncover $41 million in unused network capacity for another UK carrier.

Billing World & OSS Today magazine editors selected the award finalists in six categories reflecting new products, innovation, customer success, operational excellence and more, from open nominations around the world. One winner will be selected from each category at the Billing & OSS World 2006 Excellence Awards reception on May 3 at the Billing & OSS World 2006 Conference & Exhibition in Miami.

“Being selected as a finalist in two award categories from a demanding team of judges confirms what our customers have been telling us: NBI is a winner,” said John Bennett, President of ACE*COMM. “Being recognized in the company of our peers for our innovation and proven deployment success will underscore our value proposition to customers – NBI lets you gain greater visibility and insight to make better business decisions.”

ACE*COMM’s NBI suite collects data from disparate parts of an operator’s network and environment, enables the correlation and analysis of data from many internal and external network sources, and provides tools for the operator to uncover revenue leakage, improve asset deployment, optimize marketing expenditures, facilitate network planning, and provide for the efficient migration of network resources. NBI also has the potential to identify where services need to be improved or new services can be introduced. For more information contact: NBI@acecomm.com.
